Short Game
Pitch | Parallel Ball Lines | Quadrants
35 min
Up to 5 players compete to stop a pitch shot inside the quadrant(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. 25 balls per player are needed.
- How to practice? Make 4 parallel ball lines; each line must have 5 balls per player (5 players=25 balls per line); lines are [5 y/m apart], and balls are [1 ft | 0.3 m apart]. Place the lines on any type of grass (same grass or mix), anywhere between 30 y/m and 60 y/m from the hole (not the green). On the green, use string lines or tees to form 4 quadrants [9 ft | 3 m radius]. Players randomly select a line to start from and randomly select the quadrant to stop a pitch shot inside. Each player hits every 5th ball in the line until all balls are hit, then jumps to any other line of balls and chooses a different stop zone. Each ball that stops in the quadrant wins a point. The player with the most points at the end of all chip shots wins the challenge. Repeat the challenge at least two to three times.
Note* occasionally clear the balls from the green.
